CHIEF HUMAN RESOURCE OFFICER For a mid-sized Precision Engineering Manufacturing Organisation in Hyderabad.
As a Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO), or commonly termed as A Chief HRM, executive you will oversees all human resource management and industrial relations for our mid-sized high precision engineering manufacturing organization with different Manufacturing Plants & Divisions. You are to be a strategic partner to the CEO and other Senior Management Executives, including reporting to the Ownership and The Board based on need, focusing on the company's long-term workforce.
Key role & responsibilities:
Your responsibilities cover a wide range of strategic and operational areas:
Strategic leadership: Develop and execute HR strategies that support the company's overall vision, values, and business goals.
Talent management: Create and oversee strategies for talent acquisition, onboarding, retention, training, and succession planning to build a high-performing workforce.
Culture management: Shape and maintain a positive company culture by promoting employee engagement, diversity, equity, and inclusion (DE&I) initiatives.
Organizational development: Lead and guide the organization through periods of significant change, such as mergers, acquisitions, or restructuring.
Compensation and benefits: Design and manage competitive compensation and benefits programs that attract and retain top talent.
Compliance and governance: Ensure the company's HR practices comply with employment laws, regulations, and ethical business standards.
Executive advising: Serve as a trusted advisor to the executive management team and the board of directors on all matters related to human capital.
HR operations oversight: Supervise the entire HR department and its day-to-day functions, including payroll, benefits administration, and employee relations.
Necessary skills and qualifications:
To succeed as a CHRO, you will typically need a combination of extensive experience and a diverse skill set.
Experience: A bachelor's or master's degree in human resources or business is common, but most CHROs also have 10 to 15+ years of progressive HR experience.
Business acumen: The best CHROs understand the company's business model and financial drivers, enabling them to align HR strategies with business outcomes.
Strategic thinking: They must possess the vision to anticipate future workforce needs and develop long-term strategies.
Leadership and communication: Exceptional communication, public speaking, and leadership skills are required to influence other executives and inspire the entire workforce.
Data literacy: You must use HR data and analytics to make informed decisions and measure the effectiveness of HR programs.
Emotional intelligence: A high level of emotional intelligence is necessary for managing relationships, resolving conflicts, and handling sensitive situations.
Most of all you will need the grit and tenacity to transform old legacy workforce atmosphere to a young highly agile participative team based accountable results driven human resources to take the organisation forward to meet the challenges of the day and tomorrow.
Emoluments:
The Package shall be worked out based on your experience, exposure and time bound commitments and shall be with the norms in the industry specific to our mid-sized engineering industry segment. For the right candidate, it shall not be a constraint for the deserving.
