Job Title: Chief General Manager (CGM)

Short Role Overview:

The CGM is responsible for overseeing the complete operations, execution, and progress of all project sites across India. This senior leadership role involves end-to-end project execution, direct coordination with project coordinators, site project managers, and clients.

Responsibilities:

Lead and manage overall site operations for all ongoing infrastructure projects. Ensure timely and quality execution of projects within the defined budget and schedule. Supervise and guide project coordinators and site project managers to maintain uniform operational standards. Establish and enforce site safety, quality, and compliance protocols. Maintain regular communication with clients, consultants, and internal teams to align project goals and resolve issues. Monitor project progress reports, resource allocation, material planning, and technical milestones. Take strategic decisions related to manpower deployment, subcontracting, and material usage. Coordinate with billing, purchase, logistics, and design departments for seamless operations. Ensure efficient problem resolution and risk management at all levels of project execution. Represent the company in high-level client and consultant meetings regarding project updates and performance.

Qualifications & Key Skills:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering. 10-20 years of extensive experience in managing large-scale infrastructure projects. Proven leadership in overseeing multiple construction sites and multidisciplinary teams. Strong knowledge of industry-related software (AutoCAD, MS Project, ERP systems, etc.) Excellent project planning, execution, and coordination skills. Strong communication, decision-making, and conflict-resolution abilities. Ability to work under pressure and deliver results across distributed teams.
