Job description

The ideal candidate will be responsible for financial strategy, financial planning and analysis, financial reports, company audits, compliance, and bank relationships. They will collaborate with the CEO and the executive team to make decisions regarding company's financial strategy and operations. The candidate will possess a strong background in finance and management.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Financial Planning

Develop and execute financial strategy aligned with the company's goals. Lead long-term budgeting and forecasting initiatives.

Financial Management

Oversee the preparation of all financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, tax returns, and government agency reports. Manage the capital request and budgeting processes.

Risk Management

Monitor financial risks and develop strategies to mitigate them. Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal financial regulations.

Leadership & Collaboration

Lead, mentor, and develop the finance and accounting teams. Work closely with the CEO, board of directors, and senior leadership team to align financial management with short- and long-term goals.

Investor Relations & Reporting

Build relationships with shareholders, analysts, and the investment community. Oversee corporate financing and fundraising efforts.

Operational Excellence

Improve financial processes and systems for efficiency and scalability. Drive cost reduction initiatives and operational improvements.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master's/MBA preferred). CPA, CFA, or other relevant certification is a plus. Minimum of 10 years of progressively responsible financial leadership roles. Experience in strategic planning and execution. Strong knowledge of corporate financial law and risk management practices.
