The CFO is also responsible for risk management and capital allocation, identifying financial risks, managing cash flow and investments, and evaluating capital investments. Finally, team leadership and development involve leading and mentoring the finance team and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Qualifications & Skills
Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, with an CA or CPA/CMA preferred. Experience should include a minimum of 10-15 years in financial leadership, with at least 5 years in a senior executive finance role within the manufacturing sector. A proven track record in manufacturing financial operations, budgeting, forecasting, and risk management is necessary, as is experience with ERP systems and financial reporting software. Required skills include a deep understanding of manufacturing cost accounting and supply chain dynamics, strong analytical abilities, and excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. A strategic mindset focused on process improvement is also important.
