The Chief Financial Officer is a leadership role responsible for driving financial performance, regulatory compliance, and enabling sustainable growth. The role works closely with the CEO and leadership team to align financial planning with business goals, overseeing finance operations across geographies, group companies, and international entities. It is a strategic, hands-on, and execution-focused position.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Leadership & Strategic Planning:

Shape and execute financial strategies aligned with business objectives.
Partner with the CEO and leadership team on growth initiatives--M&A, expansion & JVs.
Provide data-driven insights for strategic decision-making
Product & Services Pricing:
oDefine and implement pricing strategies to drive profitability and competitiveness.
oConduct cost, margin, and market analysis to support pricing decisions. Business Finance
Projections & Budgeting:
Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning cycles o Collaborate with all business units and department heads to ensure accurate projections.
oAnalyze budget variances and recommend corrective actions. Financial Operations Oversight:

Financial Operations Oversight:
Oversee end-to-end finance and accounting functions including:
Order to Cash (O2C) and Purchase to Pay (P2P) cycles
Treasury and working capital management International accounting and group finances
Financial Reporting & Analysis:
oEnsure timely and accurate financial reporting in compliance with accounting standards.
oDeliver MIS dashboards and performance analytics, highlighting financial performance, trends, and KPIs.
oDrive financial data analysis to identify areas of efficiency and business growth.
IPO Preparation and Execution:
oOversee the preparation of all financial documents and disclosures required for the IPO, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards (e.g. SEC requirements)
Statutory Compliance & Risk Management:
oEnsure statutory and tax compliance including GST, TDS, Income Tax, and transfer pricing.
oLiaise with external auditors, consultants, and legal advisors for audits and compliance reviews.
oImplement strong internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure reporting accuracy.
Team Leadership & Development:
oLead, mentor, and manage the Finance & Accounts team.
oFoster a high-performance culture by setting clear goals, evaluating performance, and supporting learning and development.
Desired Qualifications & Skills
oQualified CA
oProven experience in raising capital and onboarding investors.
oDirect experience in managing IPO processes.
o10-15 years in Finance & Accounts, with 5+ years in a leadership role in IT/ITES/Product companies.
oExpertise in financial planning, analysis, and business finance.
oStrong knowledge of financial strategy, compliance, and regulatory frameworks.
oSkilled in interpreting complex financial data and driving insights.
oExposure to international accounting standards and multi-entity, multi-currency operations.
oExcellent leadership, analytical, and stakeholder management capabilities.
