As part of our strategic expansion, we are seeking a
highly experienced and visionary Chief Financial Officer (CFO)
to lead and oversee the
entire Group's financial operations
, ensure regulatory compliance across sectors, and drive long-term financial sustainability and growth.
Job Summary
The
Chief Financial Officer (CFO)
will be responsible for the
overall financial leadership of the Gentleman Group
, including financial strategy, planning, budgeting, compliance, risk management, and reporting across all business verticals. The role requires strong expertise in
NBFC regulations
, group-level consolidation, multi-entity financial management, and strategic decision-making.
This is a
senior leadership role
that works closely with the Managing Director, Board, and senior management to support business expansion, profitability, and governance.
Key ResponsibilitiesGroup Financial Leadership
Lead and manage
group-wide financial operations
covering Chit Funds (NBFC), Regencies, and Fuel Stations.
Develop and implement
group-level financial strategies
aligned with business objectives and growth plans.
Provide strategic financial guidance to the Managing Director and Board on investments, expansions, cost optimization, and risk mitigation.
Financial Planning & Control
Oversee
budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial planning
across all entities.
Ensure timely preparation of
MIS, consolidated financial statements, and management reports
.
Monitor financial performance, identify risks and opportunities, and recommend corrective actions.
Compliance & Governance
Ensure full compliance with
RBI regulations (NBFC), Companies Act, Income Tax, GST, PF, ESI, and other statutory requirements
.
Manage statutory audits, internal audits, tax audits, and regulatory inspections across the Group.
Liaise with auditors, bankers, tax authorities, RBI officials, and other regulatory bodies.
Accounting & Reporting
Ensure accurate and timely
financial reporting and consolidation
of all group companies.
Strengthen and monitor
internal controls, SOPs, and financial policies
.
Oversee implementation and optimization of
ERP and financial systems
.
Team Leadership
Lead, mentor, and develop the
finance, accounts, and compliance teams
across group entities.
Foster a culture of accountability, performance excellence, and compliance.
Risk & Strategic Management
Identify financial, regulatory, and operational risks and implement effective mitigation strategies.
Support mergers, acquisitions, funding, and capital structuring initiatives, if required.
Qualifications & ExperienceEducation
Chartered Accountant (CA) - Mandatory
Additional qualifications such as
MBA (Finance), CFA, or ICWA
will be an added advantage.
Experience
Minimum 12-15 years of experience
in finance, with substantial exposure to
NBFC or regulated financial institutions
.
At least
5-7 years in a senior leadership role
(CFO / GM / AGM - Finance / Head of Finance).
Proven experience in
group-level finance management, consolidation, compliance, and strategic planning
.
Hands-on experience with
financial software, ERP systems, and accounting platforms
.
Required Skills

Financial Expertise:
Deep understanding of accounting standards, taxation, NBFC regulations, and corporate finance.
Analytical Skills:

Excellent presentation and stakeholder management skills.
Decision-Making:
Ability to provide clear, data-driven financial advice at the board level.
