Job Summary:

Sea Blue Shipyard, a leading shipbuilding and marine engineering company in Kerala, is seeking a strategic and experienced

Chief Finance Officer (CFO)

to lead its financial operations. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership capabilities, sound financial judgment, and deep experience in managing financial functions in a

manufacturing or marine industrial environment

.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee and manage all financial operations including budgeting, forecasting, accounting, and compliance. Lead strategic financial planning to support long-term business growth and sustainability. Manage working capital, cash flow, and funding requirements in coordination with banks and financial institutions. Ensure timely statutory compliance including GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other applicable regulations. Supervise cost control systems, project accounting, and financial reporting specific to shipbuilding contracts. Implement internal controls and improve financial efficiency across departments. Coordinate with auditors, consultants, and external agencies for audits, due diligence, and financial reviews. Report financial performance and insights to the Board of Directors and management team. Work closely with the operations team to align project budgets and procurement strategies. Identify financial risks and provide strategic mitigation plans.

Candidate Profile:

Qualification:

Chartered Accountant (CA), CMA, or MBA in Finance (from a reputed institution).

Experience:

Minimum 10 years of experience in finance, with at least 5 years in a leadership role in the

manufacturing, shipbuilding, or engineering industry

. Strong knowledge of corporate finance, project accounting, taxation, and regulatory frameworks. Hands-on experience with ERP/accounting systems (Tally, SAP, etc.). Excellent analytical, leadership, and communication skills. Strong business acumen and ability to work closely with cross-functional teams.
