Role Overview
As CFO, you will be the strategic financial leader responsible for steering the financial engine across diverse verticals within the Champions Group ecosystem. Reporting directly to the Chairman & Chief Coach (CEO), you'll partner closely with the senior leadership team to drive financial discipline, growth, and strategic positioning for long-term success.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Financial Leadership
Shape and drive the financial strategy aligned with the Group's vision, growth goals, and multi-sector portfolio.
Provide financial insight to inform strategic decisions and evaluate expansion opportunities across sectors.
Financial Planning & Analysis
Oversee budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and performance tracking.
Develop multi-year financial plans and scenario analyses to assess viability across ventures.
Operational Finance & Reporting
Ensure accurate, timely financial reporting and compliance with applicable standards.
Establish dashboards and KPIs; monitor capital allocation, cost efficiencies, and profitability metrics.
Risk Management & Governance
Implement robust risk management frameworks and internal controls.
Oversee compliance across financial, tax, and regulatory requirements.
Funding & Treasury Oversight
Manage liquidity, treasury operations, banking partnerships, and funding strategies.
Strategize capital structure and investment funding tailored to different business models.
M&A and Business Development Support
Evaluate merger or acquisition opportunities, lead financial due diligence, and integrate financial operations.
Leadership & Team Building
Lead and mentor a high-performing centralized finance team, fostering excellence in FP&A, accounting, tax, and business partnering.
Stakeholder Communication
Present financial insights and strategy to the Board, investors, and partners; maintain clarity on financial performance.
Qualifications & Experience
Chartered Accountant (CA), CPA, CMA, or equivalent.
Proven track record (typically 12+ years) in senior financial leadership roles, ideally within diversified conglomerates or multi-sector businesses.
Hands-on experience in M&A, financial restructuring, or expansion in real estate, infra-tech, marketing, or digital services sectors.
Strong analytical, strategic, and interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to operate as a trusted business partner to executive leadership.
Experience driving transformation in finance functions (e.g., data-driven insights, shared services, finance partnering).
