The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will be responsible for managing the company's overall financial operations, strategic planning, budgeting, and ensuring financial compliance. The role requires strong experience in manufacturing finance, cost control, working capital management, and financial analysis to drive business profitability and growth.
Required Skills & Knowledge:
1. Financial Planning & Strategy
Develop financial strategies, long-term plans, and forecasts aligned with business objectives.
Lead annual budgeting, financial projections, and scenario planning.
Provide financial insights to support business decisions.
2. Financial Management & Reporting
Oversee accounting, finance, treasury, and taxation functions.
Ensure timely preparation of MIS reports, financial statements, and board reports.
Ensure compliance with IND-AS, GST, Income Tax, Companies Act, and other statutory requirements.
3. Costing & Manufacturing Finance
Monitor product costing, BOM validation, and inventory management.
Lead cost optimization initiatives, wastage control, and efficiency improvements.
Analyze production costs, overheads, and CAPEX requirements.
4. Working Capital & Cash Flow Management
Manage cash flow, fund flow, receivables, and payables.
Optimize working capital through credit control, inventory management, and vendor negotiations.
Maintain banking relationships and arrange funding/credit facilities.
5. Compliance & Audit
Ensure compliance with statutory laws, GST, Income Tax, Companies Act, and other regulatory requirements.
Lead internal and external audit processes.
Oversee regulatory filings and corporate governance standards.
6. Business Partnering
Work with plant heads, operations, procurement, and sales teams for financial insights.
Support decision-making for CAPEX, new projects, pricing strategies, and cost savings.
Provide MIS reports and business analytics to top management.
7. Leadership & Team Management
Lead the finance & accounts team across plants and head office.
Build capabilities, ensure training, and maintain team performance standards.
Drive continuous improvement in financial systems and ERP/SAP
