Job Description

- CEO for a leading manufacturing and distribution company based in the East African region.

- Deriving out of the business plans, would organize the resources in his command and drive the company's topline and bottom line on a month to month, quarter to quarter and on an annual basis. The lifeline of the company will be to achieve P&L goals, create adequate surpluses to fund further expansion.

- The incumbent will be responsible for managing the current manufacturing facility covering all aspects of production, logistics, and cost. Drive standards and Quality Assurance to Global standards .

- Full leadership on CAPEX plans in conjunction with the Board. Establish capability to support marketing in ensuring the Company's brands provide innovation and excitement

- Identify from amongst existing brands and categories or altogether from a new area, select few potential brands which can leapfrog into the mega brand category. Creating the brand portfolio and the marketing strategy surrounding it

- Would strive to build the organization capabilities and key talent to support aggressive growth ambitions.

- Build the Company as a high performance company and at the same time as a responsible social enterprise.

- Understand the organization's requirement for governance practices and supports the Board in its governance duties by providing necessary information and access to people. Build a strong working relationship with the Board . Update regularly on plans,performance, issues, and opportunities. Direct

- Company planning and policy-making committees.

- Keep an up-to-date understanding of the organization's income statement, balance sheet, cash flow and other financial measures relevant to its business and financial situation. Understands the concept of value creation and makes decisions on where to allocate resources based on maximizing value to the organization.

- Review financial statements to determine progress and status in attaining objectives and revise objectives and plans in accordance with current conditions of the projects. Ensures that the organization's financial records are accurate and up to date.
