2. Team Leadership and Human Resource Management
Supervise department heads (e.g., production, maintenance, logistics, quality control).
Oversee hiring, training, and development of plant staff.
Monitor workforce scheduling, shift planning, and performance management.
Promote a culture of accountability, safety, and teamwork.
3. Quality Assurance
Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and fabric care.
Monitor and minimize rewash, reject, and damage rates.
Implement continuous improvement programs to enhance service quality.
4. Customer Relationship Management
Liaise with clients to understand service needs, resolve complaints, and ensure satisfaction.
Conduct service reviews and implement client feedback.
5. Financial and Inventory Control
Develop and manage budgets, cost control, and resource planning.
Track key financial KPIs such as cost per kg, labor cost ratio, and energy consumption.
Manage inventory of detergents, chemicals, linen, and consumables efficiently.
6. Maintenance and Compliance
Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance schedules for all equipment.
Ensure the plant complies with environmental, health, and safety regulations.
Maintain records and ensure readiness for audits.
7. Reporting and Strategic Planning
Generate and present regular performance, production, and cost reports.
Identify opportunities for process automation and capacity expansion.
Contribute to strategic decision-making at the management level.
Qualifications and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Engineering, or related field. MBA preferred.
Minimum 7-10 years of experience in industrial laundry operations, including at least 3 years in a senior managerial role.
Strong understanding of laundry machinery, chemicals, and fabric care.
Proficient in MS Office, production software, and ERP systems.
Monitor daily plant activities, machine utilization, and workforce efficiency.
Implement and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for washing, drying, ironing, folding, and packaging.
Ensure timely and quality service delivery to clients.
