The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) is responsible for the overall strategic, operational, and financial management of the hospital. The CEO will provide visionary leadership, ensure the highest standards of patient care, and drive organizational growth while maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations and accreditation standards.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership:
Develop and execute the hospital's long-term vision, mission, and strategic goals.
Drive growth initiatives, including service expansion, partnerships, and new business opportunities.
Ensure alignment with the Board of Directors' directives and organizational objectives.
Operational Excellence:
Oversee day-to-day hospital operations, ensuring efficient and high-quality patient care.
Establish and implement clinical and non-clinical policies, SOPs, and quality standards.
Drive digital transformation, patient safety initiatives, and continuous quality improvement.
Financial Management:
Prepare and manage annual budgets, financial forecasts, and cost-control measures.
Ensure optimal utilization of hospital resources and revenue cycle management.
Maintain financial sustainability while balancing patient care affordability.
Human Resources & Leadership:
Lead, mentor, and motivate a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals.
Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and teamwork.
Ensure effective succession planning and staff development initiatives.
Compliance & Governance:
Ensure compliance with all healthcare laws, statutory regulations, and accreditation standards (e.g., NABH/JCI).
Implement risk management and patient safety frameworks.
Maintain ethical standards and uphold the hospital's reputation in the community.
External Relations:
Build and maintain strong relationships with government bodies, healthcare authorities, insurance companies, and the local community.
Represent the hospital in professional associations, forums, and public engagements.
Qualifications & Experience
Master's degree in Hospital Administration (MHA), Healthcare Management, Business Administration (MBA), or related field.
Minimum 8 to 10
years of experience
in healthcare management with at least
5 years in a senior leadership role
(COO, Director, or CEO).
Proven track record in hospital operations, financial management, and business growth.
Strong knowledge of healthcare laws, NABH/JCI accreditation, and regulatory frameworks.
Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
