Hemophilia Federation (India) is a National umbrella organization working for the welfare of the Persons with (PwH), a bleeding disorder since 1983. HFI has a network of 100 chapters across 26 states and union territories in the country. HFI works in close collaboration with its chapters, the department of Health and Family welfare of the government of India and the State Governments, World Federation of Hemophilia many other partners.

Organization:
Hemophilia Federation India (HFI)
1. Education:
Master's degree in Social Work (MSW), Business Administration (MBA), Healthcare Management, or a related field from a recognized institution.
Additional qualifications in Non-Profit Management or Public Health would be an advantage.
2. Experience:
Minimum 5 to 8 years of experience in a leadership role, in the non-profit sector, healthcare, or a related field.
Experience in managing teams, projects, and budgets.
Familiarity with hemophilia or other chronic diseases would be an advantage.
Strong knowledge on NGO compliance, including:
o FCRA (Foreign Contribution Regulation Act) regulations
o Income Tax Act and exemptions (80G, 12A, etc.)
o Societies Registration Act and HFI's bye-laws
o Labour laws and employee management
o Governance and transparency norms for NGOs
3. Skills:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong leadership and management skills.
Ability to work with diverse stakeholders, including government officials, healthcare professionals, and people with hemophilia.
Proficiency in English and local languages (Hindi and/or other Indian languages).
Strong computer skills, including MS Office and Google Suite.
4. Personal Qualities:
Passion for working with people with hemophilia and commitment to HFI's mission.
Strong work ethic and ability to work independently.
Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
5. Additional Requirements:
Willingness to travel frequently within India and occasionally abroad.
Ability to work with limited resources and prioritize tasks effectively.
