Chief Engineer (Lighting) (M/F/D) Location Coimbatore - Tamil Nadu, India

YOUR TASKS

• Leads the Product Development Team according to the Product V-Model approach, Steers the technical content-based communication with the customer
• Represents the product development within the project core team, develops technical basis for project management / core team decisions in consideration of QCT&R /Analysis & alignment of Product Conformity (legal), safety, customer and HELLA requirements
• Develop System Requirements Specification /Product System Architecture Design /System Integration Planning
• Characteristics-oriented systems development, assuring: (Product Conformity,Product Safety in Product Development
• Agreed Customer and HELLA requirements) / Leading the DFMEA activities
• Technical Reviews & Product Release /Product Design Verification + Validation incl. DfM/DfA-loops with our plants and suppliers up to full PPAP

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

• Electrical engineering degree / Master of Science / Graduate in Mechanical engineering / Automobile / Electronics.
• 8 to 10 years of experience (or even above ) in automotive product development, with experience of working as a technical lead. Knowledge and experience on system engineering is an add on. Automotive lighting knowledge is an advantage.
