General Responsibilities

? Conducts daily briefing of Shift Engineers
? Ensure all management reports for the resort are available timely as required.
? Responsible to represent the Engineering department during daily morning operations meetings.
? Responsible for daily operations of the Engineering department in an orderly manner.
? Attend all training sessions scheduled in the department calendar.
? Recruit, train and retain new employees.
? Actively conduct monthly department meetings with team members, share the MOM with the General Manager and Head-HR discussing action points.
? Follows immaculate grooming standards in line with the resort's grooming policy.
? Should be well versed in the departmental BRISOP (

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

? Responsible for the daily operations for the Engineering department.
? Checks complaint management system on a daily basis and allocates manpower accordingly.
? Prepares consumption report on all utilities including fuel, water and gas on a daily basis and shares it with GM office.
? Ensures continuous supply of generator and boiler fuels.
? Ensures continuous supply of LPG for kitchen requirements as applicable.
? Monitors consumption supply of LPG gas for kitchen requirements as applicable.
? Takes rounds with EHK on a daily basis to check the maintenance of guest rooms and public area.
? Oversee the maintenance tasks, work orders and special projects ensuring timely and accurate completion.


? Respond to guest's maintenance needs promptly and ensure guests receive professional, efficient prompt and courteous service to resort standards.
? Maintain the physical appearance and operational efficiency of the resort including physical, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, etc.
? Installation and maintenance of all equipment related to HVAC, DG https://setupmyhotel.com/homepage/hotel-management-glossary/set.html, water treatment, fire safety, etc.
? Ensure proper records are kept relating to all plant and equipment for the records including repair and service records.
? Ensure compliance with the Local Authority requirements for all necessary documents
? Prepares operating and CAPEX budget for Engineering and submits to Corporate Office for approvals
? Ensure that stores have adequate stocks of materials, equipment and tools and are kept in a clean and safe environment.
? Ensure that a periodic inventory of capital equipment is carried out and records updated.
? Assists in the training and building of an efficient and professional team of employees Engineering Department.
? Attend all staff and training meetings as and when directed by the superiors.
? To carry out any other duties about the department as assigned daily by the management.
? Develop, implement and manage energy conservation programs for the property to minimise expenses.
? Coordinate with the equipment suppliers for AMC and any outstanding issues.
