Key Responsibilities :

Business Plan :

- As a part of Senior Management, assist Business development to shortlist various land parcels for potential development.

- Conduct market and competitor study to understand customer requirements.

- Assist the management in confirming the business plan by planning and designing the architecture strategy based on carefully scrutinizing various business scenarios and motivations by conducting massing studies, preliminary project costing and phasing & construction strategies.

Design :

- Provide strategic leadership & Spearhead and Anchor the entire Design process for Architecture/Structure/MEP/Landscape/Sustainability/Interior design/Costing.

- Identify and Select the right team of Design consultants [ International Master planner, Local Design Architect, Structure, MEP, Landscape, Vertical transport/Green/Traffic consultants ]

- Frame the Design Briefs in consultation with relevant stakeholders of business in line with business plan and objectives.

- Liaise with government agencies to expedite the approvals of the project.

- Ensure projects\' design solutions are compliant to regulatory, environment, green building, ISO, and legislative frameworks.

- Ensure deliverables from external parties / consultants are as per desired quality and within timelines.

- Line management of the Design team including their goal setting, appraisals, recruitment & selection, team structure, and development decisions.

- Contact point for stakeholders where strategic and creative perspective is required on design issues or in cases of any escalations within the department.

- Ensure that Design team is aware of the latest trends and improvements in techniques and technologies relevant to the business;

Projects :

- Incorporate appropriate checks, balances, and review mechanisms to ensure adherence to time, quality, and budget parameters on all projects.

- Work closely with Construction Head to align on key performance indicators.

- Advise on selection of materials used.

- Assist the selection of contractors and other agencies that will help complete the project work.

- Identify innovative design solutions that enhance the quality of, decrease the cost of, and reduce the time to complete the project.

Leadership Management :

- Participate in Management Reviews and extend support to cross-functional teams where necessary.

- Manage company\'s reputation and brand image during interactions with external stakeholders.

- Ensure that all business transactions, contracts, and service awards are fully compliant with company\'s Code of Conduct.

- Regularly meet with members of senior Leadership and update them on project status, cost estimates, budget vs actual spends and solicit feedback to course correct.

- As part of Senior Leadership, advise on, communicate, and deploy organization\'s growth strategy and promote high levels of output functionally, creatively, and administratively amongst various stakeholder groups.

Stakeholder Management :

- Conduct regular meetings with all stakeholder groups

- Regular reviews with Finance and Internal Audit teams to ensure alignment on cost parameters and adherence to company compliance framework.

- Work closely with HR team for smooth administrative management of the Design team.

- Work closely with Sales and Marketing for Channel partners & Customer engagement.

- Work closely with the Construction team to ensure the project is as per desired quality, schedule and cost
