Job Description

Key Responsibilities.

Strategic

  • Serve as a pivotal member of the senior management team responsible for formulation of the overall organization strategy and short term/ long term business plans
  • Develop the organization\'s short-term and long-term Sales, Marketing, Corporate Communications and,Sustainability strategy aligned to organization vision/ mission, business strategy and objectives
  • Responsible for strategizing and planning revenue generation for emerging markets and SMEs and other channels to achieve profitable growth.
  • Establish and maintain strategic alliances with various industry forums in India
  • Ensure relationships are established with media houses/ PR agencies to increase visibility of the Company
  • Keep abreast of industry best practices and innovative practices and processes at both the national and global level and evaluate the feasibility of implementation of the same within the organization; Provide these as recommendations to Senior Management
  • Analyze the competitive landscape and competitor service offerings/ products and provide strategic insights for development of new products/services
  • Work closely with other group companies in India on various X-BU initiatives
  • Ensure, the business processes (SMP, brand and overall marketing including internal and extemal communication) are reviewed and improved to be the latest and updated
Financial
  • Accountable for Revenue numbers and profitability of the company in line with strategic vision. Prepare the business plan in line with strategic vision of the company including annual budget for the Sales. Marketing Corporate Communications & Sustainability function and monitor adherence to the same
Operational
  • Ensure the program and planning management is kept strategic and as one of the important enablers to drive revenue growth which is profitable.
  • Oversee the design and execution of external branding initiatives to increase brand visibility across all customer touch points including retail counters, service centers, vehicles, RSPs, website, etc.
  • Oversee all internal branding initiatives in terms of stationary design, visiting cards design, presentation templates, etc.
  • Ensure design of effective advertisement campaigns across various channels including print, media and internet
  • Ensure the presence of the Company in various social media network: Also ensure the establishment of an effective mechanism to monitor and respond appropriately to the feeds on the Company on various social networks and overall digital media
  • Oversee the design of various promotional materials and marketing collaterals to support sales and product development & management teams
  • Ensure adequate support in terms of market research supporting scheme design and pricing is provided to the Sales and Product Development & Management teams for design of sales promotion and incentive schemes
  • Responsible for overseeing sales productivity and recommend ways to senior management on increasing the same
  • Responsible for supporting in revenue generation sector wise (BFSI, automotive, pharma, medical equipment, electrical computer IT), including one-retail (ESA, RSP, FCC)
  • Lead the design and management of the Blue Dart Customer Loyalty Program
  • Drive the planning and implementation of effective systems and processes to collate, analyze and interpret relevant market research data as per the organization requirements and facilitate effective decision making omon Open Office
  • Drive organization-wide communication initiatives and develop communication policies, procedures and protocols for the organization
  • Oversee the publication of all internal communication materials for the organization and timely

  • Monitor conduct of market research to capture Voice of Customer
  • Drive organization-wide communication initiatives and develop communication policies, procedures and protocols for the organization
  • Oversee the publication of all internal communication materials for the organization and timely dissemination of information and preparation of updates, newsletters, etc. to internal stakeholders
  • Oversee the management and conduct of all senior management communications/ interactions like town halls, open houses, etc. in coordination with the Chief Human Resources Officer
  • Oversee all forms of external communications and media interactions for the organization, with the view of ensuring dissemination of accurate information and strengthening the company image
  • Guide and oversee the arrangement of interviews, press conferences for the senior management and their representation at appropriate public forums
  • Ensure effective crisis management in case of any damaging press reports, incidents affecting company credibility, etc.
  • Oversee management and maintenance of Blue Dart\'s official website as per brand guidelines
  • Oversee the implementation of the Corporate Social Responsibility strategy for the organization in terms of Go Green initiative, Go Teach initiative and Go Help initiative
People
  • Provide direction, guidance and support to COE as well as regional teams to help them discharge their duties effectively
  • Ensure succession plan is in place to avoid any risks to business.
  • Monitor the performance of the team on a continuous basis to identify key performers
  • Mentor and coach subordinates to develop the team\'s capabilities and build a robust succession pipeline
  • Ensure that the department is adequately staffed as per the manpower requirements
