About the Role:

We are seeking a

highly experienced and dynamic Chief Accountant

to lead our Finance and Accounts Department. The ideal candidate should possess exceptional leadership skills, a deep understanding of accounting principles, and the ability to guide and manage a team with authority and precision.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee the complete accounting cycle, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and financial reporting. Develop and enforce financial policies, internal controls, and compliance procedures in alignment with statutory and company standards. Lead, mentor, and supervise the accounting team, ensuring discipline, accuracy, and timely completion of financial tasks. Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports. Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, and external agencies to ensure compliance and successful audits. Manage budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow activities efficiently. Review and approve journal entries, bank reconciliations, and other accounting records. Drive process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial operations. Ensure timely statutory payments (GST, TDS, PF, ESI, etc.) and maintain up-to-date knowledge of current financial laws and regulations. Collaborate with top management in strategic financial planning and decision-making.

Key Skills & Competencies:

Strong Authoritarian Leadership with the ability to command, organize, and discipline the team effectively. Proven ability to handle a large accounting team with professionalism and precision. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Thorough knowledge of accounting standards, taxation, and compliance frameworks. Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, ERP systems, or equivalent). High attention to detail and accuracy in financial data management. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Educational Qualification:

Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce. Professional certifications such as CA / CMA will be an added advantage.
