1) Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department including:
Accounts Payable/Receivable
General Ledger
Cost Accounting
Revenue Recognition
Bank Reconciliations
2) Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements and reports.
3) Ensure compliance with applicable tax laws, international trade finance regulations and accounting standards.
4) Coordinate audits and ensure proper documentation and records.
5) Monitor and analyze accounting data; produce budget forecasts and cash flow statements.
6) Handle freight costing, billing and invoicing as per shipping documentation.
7) Reconcile shipping, customs and freight vendor charges with operational departments.
8) Develop internal controls and process improvements within the finance function.
9) Support management with insights on profitability, margin analysis and expense control.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's/Master's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
Minimum
5-12 years
of accounting experience.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, GST and TDS.
Experience with ERP/accounting software
Excellent analytical, organizational and communication skills.
