Job Summary:

The Chess Coach will be responsible for planning, organizing, and conducting chess training sessions for students of different age groups and skill levels. The coach will nurture interest in chess, develop strategic thinking, and prepare students for inter-school, district, state, and national-level tournaments.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct regular chess training sessions for students (beginner, intermediate, and advanced levels). Teach chess fundamentals, strategies, tactics, and endgame techniques. Develop and maintain a structured curriculum for chess training aligned with student capabilities. Organize intra-school and inter-house chess competitions. Identify and groom talented players for competitive events. Maintain attendance and performance records of students. Accompany students to external tournaments and ensure proper conduct and representation. Promote chess as a part of the school's holistic development program. Collaborate with academic and sports departments for scheduling and student engagement. Ensure discipline and encourage sportsmanship, focus, and analytical skills in students.

Qualifications & Skills:

Minimum qualification: Graduate (any discipline). Certification or proven experience as a Chess Coach / Trainer (FIDE, AICF, or similar certification preferred). Strong understanding of chess theory, strategy, and tournament rules. Experience coaching school students or competitive players. Excellent communication and mentoring skills. Ability to motivate and engage students positively.

Work Schedule:

Part-time / Full-time (depending on school schedule and requirements). Willingness to work during competitions or weekends, if required.

Pay: ₹9,635.01 - ₹40,407.49 per month
