Job Description

Role Overview:

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced

Chemistry Teacher

with a strong background in handling

CBSE Board curriculum

for secondary and senior secondary students (Classes IX-XII). The ideal candidate should have

3-5 years of teaching experience

in CBSE schools, excellent subject knowledge, and the ability to engage students through innovative teaching methodologies.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan, prepare, and deliver well-structured Chemistry lessons in alignment with the

CBSE syllabus

. Teach theoretical and practical aspects of Chemistry for Classes IX-XII. Conduct laboratory experiments, demonstrations, and ensure safety compliance in the science labs. Design lesson plans, worksheets, and assessments to evaluate student performance. Prepare students for

board examinations

and provide academic guidance. Monitor and support the overall progress and development of students. Maintain records of student attendance, performance, and discipline. Engage in

remedial teaching sessions

for slow learners and enrichment sessions for advanced learners. Collaborate with other subject teachers, coordinators, and academic heads to enhance teaching-learning practices. Participate in school events, faculty meetings, training programs, and professional development workshops.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Master's degree in Chemistry / Applied Chemistry (M.Sc.) with B.Ed. (mandatory). Minimum

3-5 years of teaching experience

in CBSE schools. In-depth knowledge of

CBSE curriculum, exam patterns, and assessment methods

. Strong classroom management, communication, and presentation skills. Ability to integrate

technology and digital tools

in classroom teaching. Passionate about student engagement, mentoring, and holistic development.

Preferred Skills:

Experience in preparing students for

competitive exams

(NEET/JEE) is an added advantage. Fluency in English (spoken and written). Strong organizational and teamwork abilities.

Pay: ?25,000.00 - ?35,000.00 per month
