Job Summary:

We are looking for a qualified and enthusiastic

Chemistry Teacher

with proven experience in the

C

BSE curriculum to join our science faculty. The ideal candidate should have a strong grasp of inquiry-based teaching, a passion for fostering scientific curiosity, and a record of effective teaching for Grades 9 to 11.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver high-quality, engaging, and conceptually rich Chemistry lessons aligned with the

C

BSE frameworks. Teach Chemistry to students in

Grades 9 through 11

, tailoring instruction to meet a range of abilities and learning styles. Design and implement lab activities and practical experiments, ensuring a safe and stimulating environment in the laboratory. Use data-driven strategies to assess student learning and provide timely feedback and interventions. Maintain records of student progress, attendance, and achievements in accordance with school policies. Collaborate with colleagues to create interdisciplinary units and participate in departmental planning. Contribute to science fairs, Olympiads, and other co-curricular science-related initiatives. Engage with parents through meetings and progress reports. Take part in school events, teacher training programs, and professional development workshops.

Qualifications and Experience:

Bachelor's or Master's degree

in Chemistry or a related scientific discipline.

B.Ed. or recognized teaching certification

(mandatory). Minimum

3 years of teaching experience

in a recognized international curriculum, with a focus on

C

BSE Chemistry*.
Strong understanding of practical Chemistry and lab safety standards. Proficiency in using technology for instruction, assessment, and collaborative learning.
