Job Description

Teaching and Instruction:

Delivering lectures, conducting laboratory sessions, and creating course materials like syllabi, assignments, and handouts.

Curriculum Development:

Developing and updating course content, ensuring it aligns with academic standards and promotes student understanding.

Student Evaluation:

Assessing student performance through exams, projects, and laboratory work, and providing feedback.

Laboratory Supervision:

Overseeing students during laboratory experiments, ensuring safe and proper usage of equipment.

Mentorship and Advising:

Providing academic guidance and mentorship to students, helping them with their academic and career goals.

Departmental and Institutional Involvement:

Participating in faculty meetings, collaborating with colleagues on curriculum and program development, and contributing to departmental initiatives.

Staying Updated:

Keeping abreast of advancements in the field of chemistry and incorporating relevant new findings into the curriculum.

Research and Publication:

(For some positions) Conducting research, publishing findings, and seeking research funding.
