Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Chemistry Laboratory Assistant to support laboratory operations, assist faculty and students during experiments, and ensure the smooth functioning of the Chemistry laboratories.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare, set up, and maintain laboratory equipment, glassware, and chemical reagents for practical classes and experiments. Assist faculty and students during laboratory sessions, ensuring proper safety procedures are followed. Maintain accurate records of chemicals, instruments, and laboratory inventory. Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations in the laboratory. Calibrate and troubleshoot basic laboratory instruments. Handle waste disposal according to safety standards. Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the laboratory at all times. Support in conducting departmental practical examinations and project work.

Qualifications and Experience

Educational Qualification:
o B.Sc. or d.pharm. in Chemistry (preferably with specialization in Analytical, Organic, or Inorganic Chemistry).

Experience:
o Minimum 1-3 years of experience as a Laboratory Assistant or Technician in a school, college, or university chemistry lab.

o Freshers with strong practical knowledge may also apply.

Skills Required

Strong understanding of chemistry laboratory practices. Knowledge of laboratory instruments and chemical handling. Good communication and coordination skills. Attention to detail and a responsible attitude. Familiarity with laboratory safety norms and documentation.
