Job Description
Key Ownership Areas:
Maintain
professional, welcoming, approachable, and patient communication
while interacting with students. Respond promptly and accurately to students'chemistry-related queries
, identifying theunderlying conceptual gaps
and common misconceptions. Provideclear, well-structured, step-by-step explanations
, includingreaction mechanisms, numerical problem-solving, diagrams, and chemical equations
where applicable. Engage infollow-up discussions
to ensure students fully understand concepts, adapting explanations to theiracademic level and emotional state
.Qualifications & Skills:
Prior
Chemistry teaching experience
(Physical, Organic, Inorganic, or a combination) at the senior secondary or international curriculum level. Experience withIB, CAIE (IGCSE, A-Level), AP, or similar international curricula
isstrongly preferred
. Strong communication skills with aprofessional, empathetic, and student-focused mindset
.Flexible availability
, ideally2 hours daily
