Key Responsibilities

Maintain a professional, welcoming, approachable, and patient communication style when interacting with students. Respond to chemistry-related queries promptly and accurately, identifying underlying conceptual gaps and common misconceptions. Deliver clear, well-structured, step-by-step explanations, incorporating reaction mechanisms, numerical problem-solving, diagrams, and chemical equations where appropriate. Engage in meaningful follow-up discussions to ensure complete student understanding, adapting explanations to the learner's academic level and emotional needs.

Qualifications & Skills

Prior experience teaching Chemistry (Physical, Organic, Inorganic, or a combination) at the senior secondary or international curriculum level. Familiarity with international curricula such as IB, Cambridge CAIE (IGCSE, A-Level), AP, or equivalent programs is strongly preferred. Excellent communication skills with a professional, empathetic, and student-centered approach. Flexible availability, with a commitment of approximately 2 hours per day.
