The QC Chemist is responsible for testing and analyzing raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products to ensure they meet required quality standards and specifications. The role ensures compliance with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct chemical and physical analysis of raw materials, intermediates, and finished products.
Prepare standard solutions and reagents for laboratory testing.
Perform tests such as pH, moisture, ash content, titration, and spectroscopic analysis.
Maintain and calibrate laboratory instruments (e.g., HPLC, UV, IR, GC).
Record and interpret test results accurately in lab reports and maintain documentation as per SOPs.
Ensure compliance with GMP, GLP, and safety protocols.
Identify non-conforming materials and report deviations to the QC Manager.
Support process validation and method development activities.
Participate in internal and external audits.
Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in the laboratory.
