Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Research and Development:

Conduct experiments to optimize biodiesel production processes, such as transesterification reactions. Evaluate different feedstocks (vegetable oils, animal fats, etc.) and their suitability for biodiesel production. Develop new methodologies for biodiesel production and analysis.

Process Optimization:

Monitor and control chemical processes during biodiesel production, ensuring quality and efficiency. Adjust parameters like temperature, pressure, and reaction time to optimize biodiesel yields and quality. Implement and maintain quality control measures for biodiesel production.

Quality Control and Analysis:

Analyze biodiesel samples using various analytical techniques (e.g., chromatography, spectroscopy) to determine purity, composition, and properties. Develop and validate analytical methods for biodiesel quality control. Ensure biodiesel meets quality standards and specifications.

Technical Support and Collaboration:

Provide technical guidance and support to other scientists, technicians, and production staff. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve biodiesel production processes. Stay informed about the latest advancements in biodiesel technology and biotechnology.
Required Skills:

Strong background in Biotechnology, chemistry and biochemistry. Knowledge of biodiesel production processes and technologies. Familiarity with analytical techniques for biodiesel characterization. Experience with laboratory equipment and software. Problem-solving and analytical skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Good communication and documentation skills
