CHEMIST.





As a

Chemist (Wet Analysis)

you will be responsible to analyse samples of different agriculture commodities, develop, validate, implement, maintain and coordinate the standard operating procedures.

Tasks and responsibilities




Hands on practice for testing of Moisture, Fat, Protein, Brix, Dietary Fiber, Ash, Acid insoluble ash, FFA, Peroxide value, Iodine Value etc in Food and Agricultural Products. Hands on experience on instruments i.e., UV-Visible Spectrophotometer, Karlfischer Titrator, Tintometer etc. Samples may include but not limited to the following: + Agri products (Dry & Liquid)
+ Food Grains
+ Feed
+ Soil
+ Water
Hands on experience on calibration of equipment's, glassware etc. Standardization of chemicals used in various testing. Monitoring and ensuring the correctness of the wet lab process for all the test parameters with Senior Chemist or Lab Manager Analyse samples in accordance to the established SOPs using Chemicals Document and process analysis results Maintain documentation in accordance to the requirements of ISO 17025 Coordinate with the documentation desk for the analysis results Manage inventory of various reagents, chemicals and consumables Ensure client confidentiality and confidentiality of results is maintained Contribute to annual action plan and long-term development to improve lab quality and services Assist Senior Chemist and Laboratory Manager

Requirements




Bachelor of Science (Chemistry or related discipline) Post graduation in Chemistry/ Analytical Chemistry would be advantageous Minimum 4 years of working in testing laboratories and minimum 1 year with specified equipment Knowledge and first-hand experience of Instrumentation UV-Visible Spectrophotometer, Tintometer, Refractometer, Karlfischer Titrator etc. Good knowledge and working experience as per ISO 17025 & Good Lab Practice (GLP) Good written and oral communication skills Language proficiency: Average English fluency Computer proficiency: Microsoft Office and other necessary software
