Job Responsibilities:
Conduct chemical analysis and testing of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products as per quality standards.
Monitor and control chemical processes to ensure consistent product quality.
Prepare chemical solutions, reagents, and samples for routine testing.
Maintain proper documentation of test results, batch records, and quality reports.
Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and statutory regulations in the laboratory and production area.
Coordinate with production and quality teams to resolve quality-related issues.
Calibrate, operate, and maintain laboratory instruments and equipment.
Assist in process improvement initiatives and cost optimization activities.
Handle chemicals safely and ensure proper storage, labeling, and disposal.
Key Skills & Requirements:
B.Sc / M.Sc in Chemistry or equivalent qualification.
2-6 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing or industrial setup (metal, alloy, chemical, or related industry preferred).
Good knowledge of chemical testing procedures and quality control standards.
Familiarity with laboratory equipment and safety protocols.
Basic knowledge of ISO / quality systems will be an added advantage.
Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Preferred Candidate Profile:
Experience working in a factory or plant laboratory environment.
Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
Willingness to work in shifts if required.
