Job Summary

We are looking for a

Chemist

with

1-3 years of hands-on experience

in

peptide synthesis and purification

within the

pharmaceutical or API industry

. The candidate will support

research and development

,

process optimization

, and

scale-up activities

for peptide Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (APIs) under

GMP guidelines

.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct

solid-phase peptide synthesis (SPPS)

using

Fmoc/t-Boc chemistry

on automated synthesizers or manually. Perform

purification of crude peptides

using preparative

HPLC or flash chromatography

techniques. Carry out

analytical testing

of intermediates and final peptides using

HPLC, LC-MS, NMR, and FTIR

. Assist in

process development

,

scale-up

, and

technology transfer

to pilot or production scale. Maintain

accurate laboratory records

,

batch manufacturing documents

, and ensure

GMP compliance

. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including

Analytical

,

Production

, and

Quality

departments. Ensure compliance with

EHS (Environment, Health & Safety)

standards and laboratory best practices.

Required Qualifications

Education:

M.Sc. in Organic Chemistry / Medicinal Chemistry / Peptide Chemistry, or M.Pharm in Pharmaceutical Chemistry or related field.

Experience:

1-3 years of practical experience in

peptide synthesis and purification

in a

pharmaceutical or API manufacturing

environment. Exposure to

SPPS (Solid Phase Peptide Synthesis)

and

Fmoc chemistry

is required. Basic understanding of

GMP

,

documentation practices

, and

regulatory expectations

. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Good communication and teamwork abilities.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
