to join our TMT (Thermo-Mechanically Treated Steel) manufacturing unit in Palakkad. The candidate will be responsible for testing and analyzing raw materials, finished steel products, and ensuring that all processes meet quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct chemical analysis of raw materials, billets, and finished TMT bars.
Perform laboratory tests to ensure compliance with BIS and industry standards.
Maintain records of test results, chemical compositions, and process data.
Monitor production quality and coordinate with the quality control and production teams.
Ensure calibration and proper functioning of lab equipment.
Follow all safety, health, and environmental guidelines during testing procedures.
Requirements:
B.Sc. / M.Sc. in Chemistry or Diploma in Chemical Engineering.
1-3 years of experience in a steel or manufacturing industry preferred.
Knowledge of spectrometer and wet analysis methods is an added advantage.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Willing to work in a plant/lab environment in shifts if required.
