Chemical Technician Executive - Bitumen Industry

Salary Range: 30,000 - 35,000/- PM

Job Summary

The Chemical Technician cum Marketing Executive will be responsible for

quality control, testing, and technical support of bitumen products

activities

. This hybrid role bridges laboratory expertise with market-facing responsibilities to support business growth in the bitumen and asphalt sector.

Key Responsibilities

A. Technical & Laboratory Responsibilities

Conduct

routine laboratory testing of bitumen and bituminous products

. Ensure compliance with

ASTM, IS, EN, or other applicable standards

. Maintain

quality control records, test reports, and certificates of analysis (COA)

. Assist in

product development, modification, and performance evaluation

of bitumen grades (VG, PMB, CRMB, emulsions, etc.). Monitor

production quality

and coordinate with the plant/operations team for corrective actions. Ensure proper handling, storage, and safety of chemicals and bitumen materials.

Documentation & Compliance

Prepare and maintain

sales reports, test reports, and client documentation

. Support tender documentation with

technical specifications and compliance data

. Ensure adherence to

company quality, safety, and environmental policies

.

Qualifications

Diploma / B.Sc. / B.Tech in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related field

. Additional training or experience in

bitumen, asphalt, or petrochemical products

preferred.

Experience

4-6 years of experience

in bitumen testing, quality control, or petrochemical industries.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
