Key Responsibilities:
Identify and target potential clients in need of STP chemicals (e.g., coagulants, flocculants, biocides, pH adjusters, defoamers, etc.)
Generate leads through field visits, cold calling, networking, and referrals.
Prepare and deliver technical presentations explaining products and services to customers.
Understand client requirements and recommend appropriate chemical solutions.
Negotiate pricing, contracts, and close sales deals.
Collaborate with the technical team to ensure product compatibility and effectiveness.
Track competitor activities and market trends.
Maintain and grow relationships with existing customers.
Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts.
Ensure after-sales support and follow-up for customer satisfaction.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in
Chemistry, Environmental Science, Chemical Engineering
, or related field.
Proven 2-5 years of experience in chemical sales, preferably in STP/water treatment industry.
Strong technical knowledge of STP chemicals and water treatment processes.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Goal-oriented, self-motivated, and able to work independently.
Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools.
Willingness to travel as required.
Preferred Skills:
Existing network of contacts in the wastewater treatment or environmental services industry.
Familiarity with local regulatory compliance regarding STP and water treatment.
Hands-on experience with field testing and chemical dosing equipment.
