Key Responsibilities

Operational Oversight:

Manage the day-to-day activities of the chemical plant, ensuring the safe and efficient production of a range of chemicals.

Safety and Compliance:

Implement and maintain strict safety standards, ensuring adherence to all regulatory requirements and company procedures.

Production and Quality:

Monitor production schedules and processes to meet established goals, while also overseeing equipment maintenance to ensure high quality and efficiency.

Budgeting and Profitability:

Manage plant budgets, optimize resource allocation, and work to ensure the facility operates at a profit.

Team Leadership:

Guide and support a team of supervisors, engineers, and operators, providing direction and training as needed.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

Work with other departments, including quality control, maintenance, and logistics, to coordinate activities and ensure seamless product delivery.

Problem-Solving:

Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues, equipment malfunctions, and safety concerns promptly.

Inventory and Purchasing:

Monitor inventory levels and purchase reports to ensure proper management of stock.
