Job Description


xc2xa7 Will be responsible for the preparation and production of a wide range of modern pastries, desserts, breads, and other baked goods, according to RHG standard & maintain the FSSAI guidelines.
xc2xa7 Ensuring the highest quality of all pastry items in terms of taste, texture, presentation, and consistency.
xc2xa7 Assures that all kitchen personnel and servers are aware of specials, plate presentations and prices
xc2xa7 Assist personnel in checking all coolers and storage areas for cleanliness, quantity and quality of food products and to assure proper plate presentation and requisitioning procedures are followed.
xc2xa7 Prepares work checklist and organises workstations for each shift, maintaining high levels of productivity and sanitation at all times.
xc2xa7 Consults with Supervisor regarding menus, controls the portioning and rotation of foods to contain food costs while maintaining the standards of Brand Hotels.

Adheres to Hotel policies and procedures

xc2xa7 Follows hotel grooming and dress standards
xc2xa7 Minimizes safety hazards by following all safety rules
xc2xa7 Will report to Executive Pastry Chef
xc2xa7 Keeps immediate Supervisor promptly and fully informed of all problems or unusual matters of significance.
xc2xa7 Performs all duties and responsibilities in a timely and efficient manner in accordance with established company policies and procedures to achieve the overall objectives of this position.
xc2xa7 Maintains a favorable working relationship with all other hotel employees to foster and promote a co-operative and harmonious working environment.
xc2xa7 At all times projects a favorable image of the Hotel to the public.
