Prepare and cook high-quality meals as per the menu and guest preferences
Plan daily menus, including Indian and basic continental dishes
Maintain consistency in taste, presentation, and portion control
Ensure kitchen hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety standards at all times
Manage kitchen inventory, raw material usage, and minimize food wastage
Coordinate with management for special meal requests and seasonal menus
Supervise kitchen helpers (if any) and ensure smooth kitchen operations
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Chef or Cook in a hotel, homestay, or resort
Knowledge of North Indian cuisine (Himachali cuisine is a plus)
Ability to work in a fast-paced hospitality environment
Understanding of food safety and hygiene practices
Flexible to work on weekends, holidays, and peak tourist seasons
