Key Responsibilities
Prepare and cook authentic
Kerala dishes
, especially Kerala Porotta, to maintain traditional taste and quality.
Ensure consistency in food taste, presentation, and portion control.
Maintain hygiene, cleanliness, and safety standards in the kitchen.
Collaborate with the F&B team to plan and design menus.
Manage food preparation for daily restaurant service and special events.
Monitor inventory of ingredients and assist in procurement when required.
Train and guide kitchen assistants/junior staff on Kerala cuisine preparation.
Requirements
Experience:
2-3 years as a Chef / Cook specializing in Kerala cuisine (especially Porotta making).
Qualification:
No formal degree required; professional cooking/kitchen experience is mandatory.
Strong knowledge of traditional Kerala cooking techniques and flavors.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Team player with good communication skills.
