A Chef with 1 to 3 years of experience is responsible for preparing and cooking dishes as per menu standards, ensuring consistent taste, quality, and presentation. The role includes assisting with daily food preparation, maintaining hygiene and safety practices, checking ingredient freshness, managing basic inventory, and supporting senior chefs during busy operations. The chef must be able to work in a fast-paced kitchen, follow standard recipes, and maintain cleanliness of workstations while contributing to smooth kitchen operations.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook dishes as per menu standards.
Assist in planning daily menus and food preparation schedules.
Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation are maintained consistently.
Follow hygiene, safety, and sanitation procedures in the kitchen.
Manage inventory, check freshness, and assist in ordering ingredients.
Coordinate with kitchen staff for smooth operations during service hours.
Maintain cleanliness of workstations and kitchen equipment.
Requirements:
1-3 years of experience as a Chef/Commis/Cook.
Knowledge of basic cooking techniques and kitchen operations.
Ability to work in fast-paced environments.
Strong time-management and teamwork skills.
Culinary certification is an added advantage.
