Job Overview

DaBox Chennai is looking for a talented and detail-oriented

Chef de Partie (CDP)

to join our

pre-opening team

. You will be responsible for managing a specific section of the kitchen (e.g., wok, grill, prep, or cold kitchen), ensuring that high-quality dishes are consistently produced according to our Pan-Asian menu. Ideal candidates will have experience in fast-paced kitchens and a solid understanding of Asian ingredients and techniques.

Key Responsibilities

Take ownership of a specific section of the kitchen, ensuring timely and quality food preparation. Prepare and cook dishes from a range of Pan-Asian cuisines: Chinese, Thai, Japanese, and Korean. Ensure consistency in presentation, portioning, and taste in your section. Assist in developing and testing new dishes under the guidance of the Sous Chef and Head Chef. Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in your station in compliance with food safety regulations. Monitor mise en place levels and coordinate with junior staff and the prep team as needed. Support the training and mentoring of Commis Chefs and other junior staff. Collaborate with the kitchen team to meet delivery order timelines in a cloud kitchen environment.

Requirements

Minimum 2-4 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a Pan-Asian or multi-cuisine kitchen. Solid knowledge of Asian cooking methods, ingredients, and kitchen equipment. Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a high-volume, delivery-focused environment. Team player with strong communication and time management skills. Culinary diploma or relevant certifications preferred. Prior experience in

Pay: ?28,000.00 - ?33,000.00 per month
