Demonstrate strong recipe knowledge and suggest improvements to enhance flavour, presentation, and reduce food waste.
Brief kitchen and service teams on daily specials, menu items, plate presentations, and pricing.
Supervise cleanliness, storage practices, ingredient quality, and proper requisitioning procedures in all work areas.
Organize shift checklists and workstations, maintaining high standards of productivity, hygiene, and sanitation.
Control portioning and food rotation to achieve cost targets while maintaining Merlis Hotel quality standards.
Deliver excellent service through effective communication, teamwork, problem handling, and value-added guest interactions.
Ensure 100% guest satisfaction by providing genuine hospitality, resolving concerns promptly, and supporting team members to exceed guest expectations.
