Quality, Safety, and Sanitation:
Ensuring strict adherence to food safety, hygiene, and sanitation regulations. This involves monitoring food storage, temperature controls, and cleanliness of the work area, as well as implementing waste reduction procedures.
Inventory and Cost Control:
Managing inventory, ordering, and stock rotation, coordinating with vendors, and minimizing waste to control food costs.
Team Leadership and Management:
Supervising, training, and motivating kitchen staff, managing schedules, and fostering a positive work environment.
Menu and Process Improvement:
Contributing to menu planning, developing specials, and standardizing kitchen procedures.
Essential Skills and QualificationsKey requirements for this role include experience in a QSR or high-volume kitchen setting. Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills are necessary, along with excellent knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards. The ability to work under pressure is also essential, as is a basic understanding of inventory, cost control, and business principles.
