Responsibilities:
Grooming & Briefing:
Be properly groomed and wear a clean, well-ironed uniform during duty hours.
Attend all kitchen briefings and follow the instructions shared by senior chefs.
Operations:
Complete mise-en-place and ensure all preparations are done on time.
Pick up store requisitions and ingredients promptly when required.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the work area at all times.
Keep all food items covered, labeled, and stored properly with day dots.
Prepare dishes strictly according to standard recipes and portion sizes.
Support the CDP and Sous Chef in daily kitchen operations.
Follow all kitchen safety and food hygiene rules.
Requirements:
1-3 years of experience in Chinese cuisine in a restaurant or hotel kitchen.
Basic knowledge of Chinese cooking, sauces, and preparation methods.
Ability to work quickly, follow instructions, and be a good team player.
Must maintain hygiene, punctuality, and discipline.
Willingness to learn and grow within the team.
