We are seeking a skilled and passionate Chef de Partie to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have experience in preparing high-quality dishes, supervising a specific kitchen section, and ensuring consistency in taste, presentation, and hygiene standards. As a Chef de Partie, you will play a key role in supporting the Head Chef and Sous Chef while training and guiding junior staff.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook dishes to the highest standards in your assigned section.
Ensure all food preparation is completed on time and meets quality requirements.
Maintain cleanliness, organization, and hygiene standards in the kitchen at all times.
Assist in menu planning, recipe development, and portion control.
Monitor stock levels, reduce wastage, and ensure proper storage of ingredients.
Train, supervise, and support Commis Chefs and junior staff.
Work collaboratively with the team to deliver excellent guest satisfaction.
Follow food safety, HACCP, and health & safety guidelines.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or in a similar role.
Strong knowledge of culinary techniques and food safety standards.
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Good communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
Culinary qualification or relevant certification preferred.
Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays.
