About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced
Chef de Partie (CDP)
to manage a specific kitchen section and ensure consistent delivery of high-quality dishes. The ideal candidate should have strong culinary skills, excellent discipline, and the ability to independently handle their assigned section.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and operate an assigned section (e.g., Indian, Continental, Tandoor, Bakery, etc.).
Prepare, cook, and present dishes according to standard recipes and quality expectations.
Ensure all mise-en-place is prepared and organized before service.
Maintain consistency in taste, portion, and presentation.
Supervise Commis chefs and assist in their training.
Ensure proper storage, labelling, and rotation of food items.
Maintain hygiene, cleanliness, and follow food safety standards (HACCP).
Coordinate with the Sous Chef and Jr. Sous Chef for smooth kitchen operations.
Monitor stock levels and reduce wastage in the assigned section.
Assist in menu planning and creation of new dishes when required.
Skills & Qualifications:
Minimum
10 years of experience
in a commercial kitchen.
Strong expertise in one or more cuisine sections.
Ability to independently handle kitchen operations in assigned section.
Good communication, teamwork, and time-management skills.
Strong knowledge of food hygiene and safety protocols.
Preferred Background:
Diploma/Degree in Culinary Arts or Hotel Management.
Previous experience in premium hospitality establishments.
