Chef de Partie (CDP) - South Indian Cuisine

location: Thrissur, Kerala - Dass Continental (4-Star Hotel)

About Us:

Dass Continental is a reputed 4-star hotel in Thrissur, delivering premium hospitality and authentic dining experiences. We are looking for an experienced Chef de Partie - South Indian Cuisine to join our culinary team and showcase excellence in traditional and modern South Indian dishes.

Role Overview:

The CDP - South will be responsible for preparing, cooking, and presenting authentic South Indian cuisine with consistency and creativity. The role demands expertise in South Indian dishes, strong kitchen management skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional dining experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and cook authentic South Indian vegetarian & non-vegetarian dishes. Maintain food quality, taste, and presentation to 4-star standards. Supervise commis chefs and support staff in daily kitchen operations. Ensure proper stock control, storage, and minimal food wastage. Follow hygiene, sanitation, and safety protocols at all times. Assist in menu planning, food festivals, and special promotions. Ensure timely preparation and smooth service during peak hours.
Qualifications & Requirements:

Minimum 3 years of experience as a CDP in South Indian Cuisine (hotel or reputed restaurant). Strong expertise in South Indian dishes and cooking techniques. Diploma/Certification in Culinary Arts/Hotel Management preferred. Ability to manage kitchen operations and guide junior staff. Team player with strong time management and communication skills.
Salary & Benefits:

Salary: ₹27,000+ per month (based on experience & expertise). Food and accommodation provided. Monthly 4 leaves. 10 working hours daily + OT pay for extra hours. Internal promotion & career growth opportunities.
