We are seeking a talented and experienced Chef to join our dynamic culinary team. The Chef will play a key role in delivering exceptional dining experiences and maintaining the smooth functioning of our restaurant or hospitality establishment.

Responsibilities

Lead and supervise kitchen staff to ensure efficient food production and service Prepare, cook, and present a variety of dishes according to established recipes and standards Oversee food safety practices, including hygiene, storage, and handling procedures Manage inventory levels, order supplies, and control waste to optimise kitchen operations Develop new menu items in collaboration with management while maintaining consistency with existing offerings Train and mentor junior kitchen staff to enhance their skills and performance Ensure all health and safety regulations are adhered to at all times Maintain a clean and organised work environment in compliance with industry standards Assist in serving customers when necessary, providing excellent hospitality

Skills

Proven experience in food production, cooking, and kitchen management Supervising experience within a culinary or hospitality setting Strong leadership qualities with the ability to manage a team effectively Excellent food preparation skills with an eye for detail and presentation Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices Experience working in restaurants or similar hospitality environments Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment Good organisational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently Exceptional communication skills for team coordination and customer service Passion for culinary arts and continuous learning within the industry
