About the department

Cross IT Services is the unit responsible for compliance management of systems at Novo Nordisk in areas like: Global IT, PS, CMC, etc. The systems are used on a local, regional, and global scale by many areas of the business, including R&D, Patient Safety, sales and marketing, Production sites etc. and are critical to the execution of key business process such as development, manufacturing, sales, finance, etc. Intelligent Automation CoE is the department which caters to all automation requirements for Novo Nordisk. The department works on various technologies such as RPA (Robotic process automation), Conversational AI, Intelligent BPM (Business Process Management), Intelligent Document Processing, NLP (Natural Language Processing), AI and Low/No Code tools.

The Position

This position is for Chatbot Developer and will be part of our Intelligent Automation CoE (Centre of Excellence) team. You will be responsible for technical guidance, implementation, support, and best practices in the Chatbot area.

As a chatbot developer, you will be responsible for:

Support and Build Chatbot Initiatives: You will ensure a standard scalable framework is formulated for chatbots and set up end to end bot services including environment set up, database set up, chatbot design and build, data logging and analytics dashboard. You will build chatbots on multiple channels including and not limited to WhatsApp, Teams, mobile app and or web. You will review and define the development of standard coding guidelines (Cloud Functions).

Build chatbots, perform evaluation of use cases, challenge requirements and develop scalable solutions from an enterprise view.

Continually evaluate the use of right technologies to be used which can enhance the user chatbot experience.

Evaluate various interfaces (new and existing) with the platform and drive towards simplification. You will build support user training material.

Building and ensuring reusability of technical solutions and improvise & standardize on the Chatbot solutioning.

Qualifications

Bachelors and/or Advanced Degree in Computer Science from a reputed Tier 1/Tier 2 or master's degree or bachelor's degree or similar graduate degree in relevant fields (Software Engineering, Computer Science, Business Administration) and relevant business experience.

2+ years of hands-on experience in conversational interface solutions and 5+ years of programming experience with preferably Node.js or Python. Good knowledge of Azure Platform for chatbot.

Demonstrated knowledge of various chatbot technologies including Dialog Flow, MS bot framework and Amazon Lex.

Experience in business messaging service and chatbots on WhatsApp, Teams, and web channels.

Ability to work well with business analysts, programmers, vendors, and end users in cross functional teams. Demonstrate good work experience with stakeholders and Vendors.

Strong analytical skills, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret customer business needs and translating them into actionable outcomes.

Good analytical skills and should be able to grasp existing systems and propose solutions accordingly.

Excellent writing, verbal, presentation, communication, and consensus building skills. You have high cultural sensitivity and ability to work across cultures. Above all you have passion for excellence with a concise, precise, and effective approach to problem solving and decision making.
