Job Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Chartered Accountant at NJ Macson in Chennai. The Chartered Accountant will be responsible for performing day-to-day accounting duties, financial analysis, tax planning and compliance, auditing and financial reporting. They will also be involved in financial planning and investment management.

Responsibilities and Duties:

Maintain MIS monthly and quarterly records. Conduct month-end and year-end book closure activities. Conduct Cost Audit, Quarterly and Statutory Audit Coordination. Conduct Internal Audit Coordination and Tax Audit / TP Audit Coordination. Handle Direct and In-direct Taxation Matters. ? Produce reports and recommendations following audits. Resolve any tax-related issues for the business or clients. Provide financial advices to the management or clients. Preparation of expense budget reports. Ensure Compliance with state revenue service. Assist in Tax Planning. Liaise with Auditors. Investigate and rectify any financial discrepancies. Prepare budgets, annual reports and strategies.

Qualifications:

Should have acquired Professional Certification as a Chartered Accountant and should have cleared CA finals.

Knowledge:

Should have knowledge in vouching and verification of books of the firms during audit period. Expert knowledge in taxation and other statutory compliances. Knowledge of handling IT filing and accounts of NGOs and Trusts.

Experienced in:

5 - 6 years of experience as a Chartered Accountant. Statutory audit of Private Limited Companies. Filing of annual return of companies with ROC. Expertise in Internal Audit, Accounting Policies and other Statutory compliances like TDS, GST etc.
