Job Overview



We are looking for a qualified

Chartered Accountant (CA)

with strong experience in the

manufacturing industry

, preferably in

lead, metal, chemical, or heavy industrial sectors

. The candidate will handle the

entire Finance & Accounts function

, including statutory compliance, costing, audits, budgeting, and plant finance operations.

Key Responsibilities



Finance & Accounts Management



Manage the full spectrum of accounts, finance, taxation, and compliance for the manufacturing unit. Ensure accurate preparation of

Balance Sheet, P&L, MIS reports, and Cash Flow statements

. Monitor daily finance operations, including receivables, payables, bank reconciliation, and cash management. Handle monthly and annual closing activities.

Costing & Manufacturing Finance



Manage

product costing, BOM costing, WIP & inventory valuation

, and cost analysis. Monitor consumption, yield, scrap, wastage, and cost variances. Strong working knowledge of

cost control in smelting/lead/chemical plants

.

Statutory Compliance



Ensure compliance with

GST, Income Tax, TDS, PF, ESI, Companies Act

, and other statutory requirements. Liaise with auditors (Statutory, Internal, GST auditors). File timely returns and manage assessments.

Budgeting & Controls



Prepare annual budgets, forecasts, and financial planning. Implement internal controls and strengthen financial discipline. Monitor spending, cost reduction, and financial risk analysis.

Banking & Funding



Coordinate with banks for LC, CC limits, term loans, and vendor payments. Handle documentation, credit control, and financial negotiations.

Coordination & Leadership



Work closely with the plant, operations, HR, and procurement teams. Lead the accounts team and ensure timely reporting and compliance. Support management with financial insights for decision-making.

Required Qualifications



Chartered Accountant (CA)

- Mandatory. 3 to 10 years of experience in

Manufacturing

(Lead/Metal/Chemical industry preferred). Strong knowledge of

Costing, GST, Income Tax, and Statutory Compliance

. Experience in

plant accounts

and inventory management. Good communication skills and proficiency in MS Excel, Tally/ERP.
